Jameson is ONE!
I had the privilege of shooting my best friends baby, Jameson for his first birthday. Jameson has had quite the year, although you would never know by just looking at that cute face! He was born with a heart defect called HLHS (Hypoplastic left heart syndrome). This is where the left side of his heart is critically underdeveloped. His parents found out about it while he was still in his mama's belly so they were some what prepared for what was to come. As prepared as one could be with this scary news. When Jameson was born he and his family had to stay a couple of hours away from their daughters and the rest of their family while he awaited treatment. He ended up needing a heart transplant and because of a donor, he was blessed with one! They had to stay in the hospital for a while but he has been home and thriving for months now and was able to enjoy his first birthday! I loved every second of watching him dig into his smash cake and try to play with all od the decorations around him. What a strong boy and happy boy! We could all learn something from this warrior.
